African Well Fund invites U2 fans to make donations

For the tenth consecutive year, the 'African Well Fund' is announcing plans for a fundraising drive to "build a well for Bono's birthday."

The organization is raising funds to benefit a project of water, sanitation and hygiene in Burkina Faso, which will be implemented by AWF, which is a partner Africare, to create a healthy environment for 257 students.

Therefore, 22 March to 10 May, the AWF invites all U2 fans inspired by Bono's tireless activism on behalf of Africa to make a donation in honor of his birthday 52 years.
