Bono, the frontman for Irish band U2, on Saturday managed to visit the Inca city of Machu Picchu, which he considered "impressive", after escaping from the harassment of the press that at first almost stopped walking the famous ruins. Apparently, the famous singer was able to camouflage themselves among a group of visitors to stand alone in the ruins, while his family followed soon after followed by other travelers.
When he was almost at the halfway stage, reporters and photographers were discovered and their meeting, the Agency noted in the second place.
The leader of U2 was very attentive to journalists and tourists who came to greet him and take pictures with him, and reached to ensure that Machu Picchu "is an impressive place."
Bono arrived on Saturday morning with his family to Machu Picchu, but this time it did not go through the ruins, apparently upset with the press and harassment of tourists.
The members noted that their safety was a "private visit".
The leader of U2 then returned to the town of Aguas Calientes, the lower part of the mountain on which are the ruins, where he remained until, at a time not determined, recovered and managed to escape the press.
The musician arrived Friday in the city of Cuzco in southern Peru, and later traveled around the region of the Sacred Valley.
"Thank you friends. I came with my family and we are discovering a wonderful country. I'm with my family, I hope you understand," said Bono told reporters when he arrived in Cuzco.
