Victoria Beckham'tweet to Bono lock Foundation Irish site

A tweet sent by Victoria Beckham singer Bono, U2 leader, caused a collapse in the site of the charity Irish Hospice Foundation, confirmed on Friday its leaders. The former Spice Girls used his Twitter account on the night of Thursday to thank the U2 singer and his wife, Alison "Ali" Hewson, a children's book that was sent as a present for Harper, daughter of Victoria with the player David Beckham.
"Thank you, Bono and Ali, the book's''Peter and the Wolf''to Harper," read the message, which was accompanied by a link to the donations page of the Irish humanitarian organization.

A few hours after the message, the site of this organization collapsed due to the large number of visitors coming, mostly from Victoria's account, which has more than 2.5 million followers. A spokesman for the foundation, Caroline Lynch, confirmed on Friday the technical difficulties on the site, which has been normalized. Caroline, in turn, also said the message from Victoria also via Twitter.

"We hope that you and enjoy the book with David Harper," the message said.
In 2003, U2's lead singer decided to launch an edition illustrated with drawings and her own two daughters, Jordan and Eve, the children's classic "Peter and the Wolf." The idea was to raise funds for his own Irish Hospice Foundation. In this book, Bono also had the collaboration of his friend Gavin Friday, a well-known musician from Dublin who was in charge of the narration and the composition of music for this version of the child. Until last Thursday, sales of the book had generated a profit of $ 1.3 million, a figure that the foundation hopes to overcome largely thanks to the unwitting help of Victoria Beckham.
