Zoo Tv - Opening Night (1992)

With the climate birthday Achtung Baby let's recall how the first night of one of the biggest tours of U2 and the music itself. It was in the city of Lakeland, Florida on February 29, 1992. Had begun a tour that would go plowing the band's history by being bold. Cars with custom paintings hung on the band, several televisions around the stage in different sizes. A huge stage. Structure completely different from any stage of the common era. Lights are accessing, as well as big screens and small screens. Videos are shown for a few minutes and suddenly Bono enters the scene as if out of television. A guitar riff, never heard before in the music of U2, and gradually it starts adding up. Larry comes to give rhythm, Bono has entered the stage wearing a dress, so far, exotic. With brilliantly black jackets and pants, a somewhat large sunglasses and smoking it immortalizes one of his alter egos: The Fly. Adam completes the perfect entry Zoo Station and the band starts. Rare songs are played in this first show, such as Who's gonna rild your wild horses and Tryin 'To Throw Your Arms Around The World, which were played very few times until today. U2 plays a rare sequence of songs: Where The Streets Have No Name followed by Pride (In The Name Of Love) and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.

In Desire, Bono shows one of his creations: The Mirrorball Man, a parody of U.S. televangelists. Satellite of Love is first performed entirely, previously used only to U2 as snipped. Neither One single was released, yet.elists. Satellites of Love is first performed entirely, previously used only to U2 as snipped. Neither One single was released yet.
